My direction is a perspective in to how excessive and mindless media consumption could manifest in to a toxic habit. I aim to visually convey this subject in the tangible form of food, specifically “conventionally” unhealthy food. Similar in the ways that humans indulge in seemingly delicious yet harmful foods, I think there is an interesting parallel in how we lose ourselves in the superfluous exposure to media. Whereas food affects physique and media affects the mind, there’s an irony in that both forms of consumption start to slowly eat away at the consumer instead .
